From our humble beginnings in 2009, American Contractors Organization planted its roots as an organization focused on assisting the Construction, Landscape, and Farm labor contractors. We began providing Technical assistance to startups. These services included initial business formation licensing applications & renewals, business consulting, implementing risk management strategies and developing a safety culture to create a sustainable business model.

In the following years, ACO expanded its’ services to provide bilingual contractor continuing education with a focus on further developing our Safety & Compliance resources to complement our consulting services. During this time, we also became an accredited EPA provider for the Lead Based Paint RRP Certification program.

As we continue to help contractors in these sectors we recognize that starting a business offers an incredibly rewarding way to pursue a passion with great income opportunities, but we also understand and have seen first-hand the challenges associated when business owners are not fully prepared and lack the best possible blueprint for success.

The indication here is not the missing opportunity, rather the lack of careful planning and due diligence which are keys to success when starting a business; and for those already in business, our goal is to help you build a stronger foundation to create a sustainable future.

Running a contracting business can be challenging yet rewarding. Although it can often feel like a lonely journey, however, with proper support contractors are better prepared to overcome challenges within the industry, empowering them to share ideas, lessons learned, proven practices, and insights with other industry leaders.
